About Me (In My Own Words)
Diagnosed with Bicuspid Aortic Valve at 38 with severe regurgitation. Thought at first, why me? Exercise regularly, eat right and always have taken good care of myself. After I got over the fact that there was nothing I could have done to prevent my situation, I began to learn as much as possible about my situation and options. As of Tuesday, April 6th, I will be one week post-op from Aortic Valve Replacement with a Biological Valve. Looking forward to the upcoming months of recovery.
