About Me (In My Own Words)
I was diagnosed with endocarditis as well as osteomyelitis (because of sepsis, but that’s a whole other story.) I had my Plumonary valve and Mirtal (bicuspid) valve replaced one with a mechanical valve and the other with a prosthetic valve as well as a pacemaker placed (into my abdomen for cosmetic reasons, and that was not my decision that was my surgeons best decision and a great decision by the way)! After restarting my heart they found that my heart no longer contained a “life sustaining rhythm” in October of 2018.
