About Me (In My Own Words)
I started experiencing shortness of breath after exertion and went to my cardiologist who sent me for a TEE and then referred to cardiothorasic surgeon. I was told that my mitral valve had mixed problems - didnt open or close properly and there was stenosis and repair was not possible so, I'll be having mitral valve replacement on December 1st. I'm really excited to get through this and start getting back into my life.
