Hi Stephanie,
Michelle again. I was reading your journals further about the pain in your right foot. I\'ve had burning and an electrical shocking sensation in my right foot for three years ever since I had a neck injection for a pinched nerve. I don\'t know what type of pain your having but it could have arisen from surgery and the way your neck was positioned putting pressure on your nerves.
Michelle Wanke posted a note for stephanie that says:

Hi Stephanie,
I\'m so glad you posted about your pain. I went through the same surgery as you and started having the same type of stabbing pain in the center of my chest, just to the right side of my scar a few days ago. Next week will be 12 weeks since my surgery. I was thinking that it may be nerves coming back to life but was going to ask my Cardiologist next week when I see him. I\'m sorry your having pain but I\'m glad to hear its not just me, if you know what I mean. If you find out what is causing it let me know and I\'ll do the same.
Take care,

Hmmm...I wonder if it the same kind of thing that I get. I get a sharp pain sort of in between two of my ribs on the left side. Especially if I lay on my left side. Been happening off and on for a while now. I never know when it is going to happen. Sometimes it wakes me up at like 2 in the morning, or I feel it if I am just sitting on the couch. weird stuff.

Hey Stephanie, please don\'t be depressed, it does get better, the way you fell is very important for recovery, so please try to pamper yourself and don\'t feel guilty about it. So you have acne, you are not the only one, get some oxy pads, that might help. Also, you will look better as you recover, trust me, I was black and blue from the surgery, everything gave me bruses, I remember my right leg and foot feeling weird, I also had a big bruise on my right thigh, I think it was from the incision on your groin? I would call the doctor and report this.
And, I would suggest that you keep writing your journal and keep us posted.
Best regards,
Patricia De Leon :)

Stephanie....hello...I am also here in Louisville and had my OHS in October, at Jewish Hospital. I Am glad to see you came thru the surgery ok, but wish you were not having the other stuff. On those tough days, my advice is to always get up, get dressed and get moving...even if it\'s just around the house, yard, street...whatever. It always makes you feel better. Get to the doctors and let them help you...do not try to fight all this by yourself. The OHS recovery is challenging enough.
Do the rehab...they know how to work around any limitations. It will make you feel better...I promise.
Keep your head up and keep pushing yourself...you will get thru this!
