HI Robin, Good luck on your cath as well. You get it the day before I do. I am lucky my doctor said he was going thru the wrists, So now I am drinking plenty of water so I dont have a rude awakening. I will let you know what happens. Good luck.
HI Robin Im the other LInda in SC.Welcome to HVJ. You and I are in this together. Both of us can and will do this and have a new life. I have been here for a little while just waiting. Now my time has changed and I am on the climb up the mountain. Next Thurs I go for a heart cath and then talk surgery. Like you I am a basket case, emotions all over the place. But if that didn't happen I guess I would not be normal. There a lot of wonderful people here and everyone here is here to help with anything. Keep us all posted on your visit with the surgeon and good luck.
Robin, welcome to HVJ! We get "newbies" every day it seems. I know you have lots of questions, many different emotions going on, we have all been there. We are here to help you through this, be of encouragement and emotional support. We know what you are experiencing...we've been there and we all say the same thing: 1) waiting is harder than the actual surgery, 2) the surgery and recovery is very manageable, not nearly as bad as you are imagining right now and 3) our HVJ family was and is here for you!
Let us know how your visit with the surgeon goes!
