Hi rashid, Just down in Yorkshire . This community is very supportive and will help / answer any questions you have ( the best we can !) I had open heart surgery for a severely leaking mitral valve . I have a st.Jude’s mechanical mitral valve & take daily warfarin . Everyone is different and everyone ‘s surgery is different . I hope that you are doing okay .

Rashid Khan Nice to hear from you again. As mentioned before, I had an aortic valve replacement with Graf about six years ago. I had glandular fever in childhood and hence caused a problem in latter years in my valve. Back to normal, still work part time as Consultant. Take care.Regards. R
