Jeannie, Welcome to the Community. It sounds like you have already been there, done that and here you are living a good life. Glad to hear of your successful surgery. Yes we all know what you have gone through at various stages. Some are pre-surgical, some in surgery and some are post- surgical and recovering. There are some patients who are celebrating their new found life and they do this year after year. I am in the pre-op and waiting mode. Every 6 months, but feel that the next cardio visit will be the one for more test and then surgery. Happy New year to you and your family.

Those 6 month appointments were always scary, as odd as it sounds, I was kind of relieved once my doctor said it was time. I felt like I'd finally be healed and have less worries. And that's definitely true.
