I am 5 months post op and I had tingling in my fingers. Right after surgery I had tingling In both hands but as time went on I only had it in my left hand. That continued for several months... From 4 fingers, to 3, to 2 to 1 finger being numb. That ended at about 4 1/2 months! My cardiologist said the numbness was due to how they strap your arms under the operation table for many hours. I did get some help from my chiropractor adjusting my middle back. Hope this info. helps you. You can read my journal if you want to. Congrats on being on the other side of surgery!

I wanted to let you know I too have experienced some numbness. Mine didn't start until 4 weeks post op. I had several days in a row in which my lips, tip of my tongue, and sometimes my chin felt numb. I had lots of doctor appointments this past week and none of the doctors were concerned about this. And the past 2 days I have not had any numbness. I know it is not a stroke because my PT INR's (blood clotting ability) have been good.
Take care and I wish you a speedy recovery!
