You're heading down the final stretch. What you didn't need at the last minute is so much frustration over wrong tests and inept? dentists.Clear your mind and keep your focus on your successful surgery and it'll be over before you know it. I am in day 12 post op and getting better every day. Hope you'll have someone posting for you post op, so we can follow your recovery. Prayers to you.
Hey there David
Your heart is ready to be repaired, and be glad that your surgeon is doing it so quickly. I am a little over a month post-op from having my aortic valve replacedand I am very glad mine was done quickly as well. If I had had to wait I would have gone nuts with fear.
I would be happy to help answer any questions you may have since I just went thru it & did well. You came to the right place!
I will add you to my list to pray for as your date gets here quickly!
Good luck & God bless!
I suppose without having asked your doctor "why so soon" you just have to believe your heart is ready. Not you - your heart. You don't have time to sweat it and sometimes that's a good thing. Tell the family, get your stuff together and go. That's frightening and we've all been there or are there now, depending upon who you are talking to.
If you would like some support then keep us updated and support and prayers or whatever it is you need will pop out at you. The people you meet here are all wonderful and have gone through all the same feelings and doubts but know this, we are all still here and that's the point to keep in mind.
If you have some procedure questions ask away and I know someone will weigh in with some answers.
(I'm almost 6 months post-op mitral valve repair)
