Hello Berl and Happy Holidays to you as you near your surgery date. Hope you are feeling good about getting this surgery behind you so that you can enter into 2016 mended and healing up to continue on in Life! I haven't seen any entries in your journal but know if there is anything we here in the community can do to help you before or after your surgery by way of support or information you will let us know. There are many of us "valvers" out here to lean on so know you are not alone and our hearts are with you! Merry Christmas to you and those you love.

Hi Berl, i had AVR on Nov.23/15. My recovery has been going well, it's almost a month now. I had to get some help from my doctor, just so i could sleep better at night. The first two weeks at home were horrible( hardly any sleep). Anyhow i would like to wish the best of luck on your surgery. Take good care of yourself.
