I am having a lot of anxiety at night, to the point that I can't sleep in my bed. Sad thing is I just bought this bed and it's so comfy. But when I lay down I feel like I'm not getting any oxygen and that starts my anxiety then my brain starts to focus on my muscular pain and then I'm up and back in my recliner. I am so tired. Is there an anxiety medicine I can get from my Doctor to help me?

Rita Savelis Yes, there definitely is medicine for anxiety. You can talk to your doctor and he/she can recommend medicine that can be used with the other cardiac medicines you might be on. Anxiety and depression are very common in post surgery (as well as pre surgery). I feel for you.

My doctor recommended Tylenol PM, which has helped me, the Tylenol for aches and soreness and the PM(Benadryl) has helped me fall asleep. There are many medications for sleep and anxiety, and your doctor knows you and I am sure will have a good recommendation for you!!
