About Me (In My Own Words)
I was 6 when a murmur was discovered. At 9 I had open heart surgery to remove a membrane partially blocking my aortic valve. The surgery date was 6/14/1988. Ever since then an aortic valve replacement surgery has been in the conversation. I’ve also developed an ascending aortic aneurysm, I’m close to having surgery to replace the valve, and repair the aneurysm.
