New REPAIR MR Clinical Trial for Mitral Valve Patients

The new REPAIR MR Clinical Trial is now enrolling mitral valve patients to evaluate the less-invasive MitraClip therapy. The MitraClip is a transcatheter mitral valve repair (TMVr) that requires no incision to the patient's chest or ribs. Patients who undergo a MitraClip implant are not required to go on the heart-lung machine. Watch this video with Dr. Patrick McCarthy and Dr. Saibal Kar, the national principal investigators of the REPAIR MR clinical trial, to learn about mitral regurgitation, the REPAIR MR Clinical Trial and the next steps to enroll for this clinical trial.
