After consulting with Dr. Robert Robison we felt very reassured and confident he was who we wanted to do the surgery. The surgery was much easier than I anticipated. Replaced stenosed bicuspid valve and two coronary bypass grafts and was back in my dental office treating patient two weeks latter. "I am 59 and very active but it became impossible to run more than a quarter mile. I had been diagnosed with Aortic stenosis for about ten years so I knew the time had come to replace the valve. I interviewed several surgeons and immediately felt good about Dr. Robison. It also helped that his name and surgery group kept comming up as the top recommendation from multiple medical sources. All I can say is that everything went better than I could have dreamed. Out of the hospital in 5 days with a new cow valve and 2 bypass grafts and full sternotomy. I walked 3 miles outside 8 days post surgery. Only Ibuprofin pain meds needed after day 10. I am amazed at the recovery and give full credit to Dr Robison and his surgical team at St Vincent Hosp. I plan to return to work part time in less than 3weeks post surgery. "
