"I just want to say how everything fell into place for my surgery -- from the time I realized what was needed some time in November to finding Dr. Hill listed on this website, to passing through Seattle so I could check out Virginia Mason, to our experience with Drs. Hill and Woo, their staffs, and all the nurses at VM. To say heart valve surgery is a positive experience is quite remarkable. VM scheduled me in a very relaxed fashion. I never felt rushed with any doctor or staff person and I never had to wait more than a few minutes either for an appointment. I never felt any of the big ego stuff ("do it my way or die") that I had been warned about for cardiologists, especially the surgeons."

"My experience with Dr Hill is 100% positive. He was helpful before my surgery in answering questions, and very supportive afterwards in resolving the minor bumps I have run into. The surgery itself went exactly as planned, with my choice of valve (On-X). I can agree with what my cardiologist wrote: "Honestly, if I or anyone in my family needed surgery I would have Dr. Hill do it." "
