"I was very very uncomfortable with the thought of going under. I had never had surgery before, I had never spent a night in a hospital (as a patient). Dr. Lin was very thorough in explaining the procedure with me, the prospect of a valve repair vs. a valve replacement. The likelihood of various successes, and he was very very confident in his ability.
His confidence, and his willingness to sit with me (pre-op and post-op) to discuss the procedure assuaged my fears. Dr. Lin has a wonderful bedside manner, he was very thoughtful and informative when dealing with my wife, and setting her mind at ease.
My surgery was a better than expected success. I wish heart surgery on no one, but if you need it...Dr. Lin is the man!!"
