Hullo Susan back to you and a thumbs up on your successful surgery. Indeed a smile, a wink, a handshake, a pat on the back, a dance, some balloons, streamers, gun salute, more streamers, more dancing, a fly over, a big band, a cake, horns, pole dancing, a juggler, confetti, sparklers, rose petals, candles, champagne, kisses, hugs, a choir, love, congratulations and blessings. Take a bow girlfriend you so deserve it, and we are all cheering you on. In fact take as many encores as you can manage, even if it is a tiny smile and a one finger salute. So proud of you my darling friend.

Marie posted a note for Susan that says:
Hi Susan,
So glad your most of your test are done and your surgery date is almost here. Your not going to believe this but I have wrote a message to you here 2 times over the last hour or more. Both times my hand hits something on the left of my computer when I was almost done and I go from here to that patients guide page. Then I can't get back to what I was writing. So frustrating the first time.
Then I had a better thought come to me the second time for you and it happened again. I couldn't believe I did it again after trying to be so careful. My husband had just walked by the room I'm in and I think that little distraction was enough to hit whatever it is that I'm hitting. We'll the first time my fault the second time his.LOL.
Anyway the enemy doesn't want us to help one another so we know that. So here's the brief version of the thought I was sending you that came to me the second time I started again. The thought is "Facing the Giant" from a message our late Pastor ministered a longtime ago.
Short version, Israel surrounded by their enemy Philistines. They send in their Giant Goliath to challenge any one man of Israel's army to defeat Goliath and them that way. God uses a youthful David He had anointed to be the new king over Israel in king Saul's place.
God was with David because he loved God and had a relationship with Him throughout his youth while he tended to his father's sheep etc. David knew God and in knowledge and trust and anointing he wasn't afraid to go into battle with Goliath with his sling and those five smooth stones.
Goliath was challenging the armies of Israel and slandering God and them. They as a nation had lost their faith and power of God because of King Saul's leadership etc. at that time. So they were all afraid of Goliath. In the natural man, anyone would be. David on the other hand though still a boy, was full of faith and trust in God because he already had a close relationship with his Creator and he new God in His personality and strength. From his experiences of his life already and he recalled to King Saul how God had delivered him from the lion and the bear on the mountain with his sheep.
So David could not and did not need to go into this battle with the armor of Saul they put on him. It was bigger and heavier than he was. And that wasn't his protection anyway. Then David went to the stream and picked out five smooth stones and got his sling ready. David who was ready for battle now,"Faced His Giant" in the name of his God and the God of all Israel. He heard what Goliath said he was going to do to him and then he told him what he was going to do to him. He then took out just one of those smooth round stones, put it in his sling swung it. I recently heard a message preached that the one stone didn't just represent the name of Jesus. It represented that One Drop of Blood that defeated all the spiritual enemies of God and His people at the cross. What a great thought.
That one stone was all he needed to hit that giant in the only place right between his eyes not covered by armor and down he went. Then though he was already dead David went over and picked up this giant's own huge sword and cut off his head in front of all of the Philistines army and the armies of Israel.
That day the giant and the Philistines were defeated and all of Israel knew that their God was their deliverer and that David was truly anointed by God to Face the Giant and bring the victory to them.
Well so much for the short version.LOL I hope sharing little thought helps and encourages you and anyone who reads it no matter what the battle their facing. Remember the battle is the Lord's and He will fight the battle for us if we stand in our faith in Him. You will be in my prayers as you go forth in God. God bless you my friend.

Susan Smith Believe it or not, my car survived the surgery and is back in my possession. When I went to pick it up the mechanic would not take any payment. He wants me to drive it for 3 or 4 weeks and if no more trouble then I can pay him. I am suspecious that someone has paid him, but I have no proof and for now I will except his reasoning.
