Wait a minute, you have a heart? All our late night visits in Yellow Cabs looking for a Jack in the Box and you couldn't mention this to either me or Habib? I'm sure you will be in great hands and the only complication may be getting through that chest hair. They can't train for those kinds of real world scenerio's. haha
In all seriousness, I wish you the best with the surgery and keep up the great sense of humor during the whole process. As others have said, take it easy and let your body recover. Let me know if you get up to Seattle sometime.
All our best wishes go out to you through the surgery and for a very quick recovery. We miss you tons- looking forward to catching up when you're all healed up!
All our love,
Ken, Renee, Bella and Siena Vida
Hang in there! Good vibes from Venice, CA. Didn't I see Yama doing some aortic regurgitation with you someplace in Manhattan Beach a few years back? I'm sure you are gonna fly through this! Go Beers! -Rei, Nadia, Jeremy, Nicolas, Samuel.
Steve, our thoughts and prayers will be with you as you go through your surgery. I hope you have a speedy recovery and are back on your feet, or in your case, flippers, as soon as possible. I know you are in good hands with Anne by your side.
Love, Daria, Dan, Gracyn and Colin Lovette
STEVE-O...I am jealous of the nurses that get to take care of you. I am sure you will be the most favorite patient on all of the units. You are going to do amazing and will be back on your feet in no time at all. Your amazing attitude, sense of humor and strong body will make this a breeze.
I'll be thinking of you and sending you all of the positive thoughts of strength and recovery I possibly can.
Are you better yet? Can't wait to hear the good news that you're out of surgery and everything went perfectly!! Oink! Seriously can't write/think about the situation and all the love and positive energy we're sending you without getting weepy.....so I won't! :) Torrance Granick boys....be strong, help Mom a lot and be sure NOT to jump on Daddy when he gets home! Annie....we love you and are so thankful that you are who you are and are by Steven's side every step of the way!
Lots of love, OOOO AND XXXXX,
Lori, Mark, Tyler and JonJon
After all these years--I had no idea!! Our prayers are with you. The only other tidbit of information I have is that I worked with a family when I was at UCLA (I was a part-time nanny to the kids and a part-time research asst. to the mom). After UCLA, I was on a SWA flight and was looking at the magazine --I turned he page and there was a full page photo of the son of the family. He was now 17 and it turned out he had a bad valve--the long and the short of it is that he had a valve replacement at 17, fully recovered and went on to take his high school team to the soccer championship, and then be valedictorian of is high school and go on to Harvard --not such a bad result! So, I have positive thoughts and high hopes for you.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you for a successful surgery and snappy recovery. My cousin's 21 year old daughter recently had an identical surgery it was just like you described 1-2-3 and recovery. They planned her's during her 6 week college break and bingo back to classes. Everything will be fine.
Dude, those nurses in the Cardiac ward are in trouble!! You are going to make them and us all laugh so hard with your comments and updates as you sail through this procedure. Foley catheters are that not bad, really, I have had one myself! Our prayers are with you and we look forward to hanging with you back at Fancy Camping .

Steve - hello mate, did'nt know abut this until now but wish you all the very best for a full recovery. With your constant upbeat attitude, positivity and strength I have no doubts you will be back on your feet in no time. Plus with Anne's strength and with Maxie, Connor and Jonny to keep you entertained I feel you are in good hands!. My thoughts are with you and let me know if you need any help at all with Maxie - All the best, Paul Revill
So, I wish I had something more witty to say, Steve.........but this time, I find myself a bit perplexed and at a loss for words, hard to believe coming from me. I just can't tell you enough how much we will be praying for you, Anne and the boys. Know that you will be in the prayers of the St. Bede 2nd and 5th grade intentions, which I like to believe go straight to God's ears if uttered by the mouths of kids. We love you all so much! Karrie, Gil, and Saydah kids
All of us at the Searles' household will be thinking and praying for your speedy recovery. Having just gone through this with my mom, I KNOW how scary it is! Thanks for keeping us in the loop with this website. And, Ann, please let us know if/how we can help! Love, Rob, Arda, Taline & Mel
Can we change Johnny's name for the draft and then change it back after! You know we will be there for you, Anne, and the boys for anything. Times like this show peoples true colors and you know that we are her for anything you and your family need. Most people do not know that you are my alternative life partner per the agreement with Anne and Kelly.
