Living one moment to the next is an intense pain. All of the prayer and love that is going out to you and your family from all over the world I pray it will lift you and your children and Lori up enough to get you through each next moment. stephanie b
I prayed to the Virgin Mary today that she intercede and ask for God to give you total healing. Who else but the "blessed are you amongest women" could understand how important it is for you to continue to be the awesome mother that you are!
Love you Lori and I will continue to pray for a full recovery!!!
Lori, Adam and girls-
There are no words that can describe the blessings from the journal entries. The beauty and love that is expressed in your journal entries for your wife and family are so powerful. We feel like we are there in spirit. Please know that we are showering your family with prayers of healing.
Kyle and I are praying for you and you are in our thoughts constantly. You guys brought us our new parent packet when Maris was born and, Lori, I will never forget talking to you when Maris was about 2 months old. You have been an inspiration to me ever since and I will continue to pray for your full and speedy recovery.
We are praying for your recovery. Adam we are praying for your strength. Lori was my first point of contact when I moved back to Austin with Olivia. She is also one of the reasons I started STARS for DS in Corpus. She is the sweetest soul and so many of us have been blessed to know her. Keep strong and know we are all praying!

Mary and I LOVE you very much! You have helped us and given us support through some tough times. Always finding the time to reply to messages I have sent asking the strangest questions and begging for reassurance, be strong you are in our thoughts constantly!!
I know why Lori loves Mt. Bonnell so much, it is a beautiful spot, up high with a beautiful view of the river, hills and birds. When we lived in Westlake Hills years ago we would often go ther. climb the steps and take it all in. I pray that you and Lori and your daughters will visit this magical spot again.
Prayers from FL.
Adam, I am on pins and needles anxiously awaiting the news of her EEG results. I am in a constant state of ongoing prayer through my heart and mind even while trying to work and get my school ready for the new year. My teachers are praying as well and keep checking with me to see if there is any news.
Your family is a very special to me! please know that we love you and are for you.
I know I've been silent up to now only because my mind and heart are racing and trying to wrap my head around what our Lori has been through since surgery. No mistake, though, that I think of her & pray every minute of every day. I can say (to some extent) I do know what you are feeling from going through similar events with my Mom. Thank you for taking time to let us know what is going on despite the stress you are experiencing. You are handling it well, my friend, and your talk with the girls sounded pefect & beautiful. I'm happy your Dad and brother are there to help support you. Our girl is strong & we all know when Lori is determined to do something, she gives it her all and won't quit until she is satisfied. She'll make it through this, we just have to give her time and keep the faith. I'm so happy I have recent memories of her huge smile and infectious laugh from our visit. She is one of a kind. :o) Please let me know if I can do anything for you. Love from Oklahoma, Beth Lutz

Lori, You have been heavy on my heart since all this started. You are in constant thought and prayer. I can't even imagine how many prayer chains you must be on! EVERYONE is praying hard for you and your family. It is so very obvious how much you are loved and what a positive influence you have been to anyone and everyone who knows you.
I am sitting here thinking of all the Christian songs about healing. So many come to mind. But I did a search and found one that I've never heard before by Aaron Jeoffrey...Heal Me.
Heal these eyes
Heal this heart
Heal my mind
Breathe Your breath of life
Wake my soul
From this sleep
Give me back the joy
Of when I first believed
Anyway, this is my prayer for you....for HIS COMPLETE healing. We all love you so much!
To all of Lori's family and friends....we all must keep the faith and know that God is in control.
In HIM alone,
Jana Fuller Froehlich

Lori it is comforting and both heart breaking to read the posts. This should not be happening! You are truly loved by so many people. You are an amazing woman with so much left in life to do. Your friends along with Adams are some of the most wonderful people that I have ever met in my life. The support system you have is unbreakable. Your family is in constant communication with each other and receiving updates on you. Remember our conversation with Grandma one of the last times we were with her? The one about the Preston's journal entry and the love for our family and she replied " you know the best thing about it, it was all free". We talked to her quite some time about that love. The love for you is overflowing right now. We need you to get better.
Love you, Cyndi
Lori, my friend, it’s me, Cheryl. I know it’s been a few years but I just received word from Andy about what you are facing. My family and I send you all our prayers. Back in school you were a very strong person and I know that time has made you even stronger. This is just another one of life's speed bumps that will only slow you down a little. My prayers are with you and your family.
Hi Adam and family,
Just wanted to let you know that the Houston DSA is praying in full force and has Lori on every prayer list we know of. You and your family are in our thoughts and have our support. May God keep you.
Adam, I want you to know people are praying for Lori from Columbia, Missouri and as far away as Tasmania. She is beloved and the huge outcry at her condition is a testament to that. My heart is aching for you right now. My husband and I send much love. We were in the DSACT community with you and Lori several years ago in Austin and have since moved to MO. I pray for strength, comfort and healing for all of you. Blessings.
It's been several years since I worked with you back in LEDD, Lori, but I have my entire family praying and sending healing energy your way. Keep the faith! You have hundreds of people who love and care about you and your family in this very difficult time.
I am Suzanne's mom and have been following Lori's condition. I have continued to pray for her and know that God preforms miracles. I have known Lori since Suzanne and she were friends in college.
God bless you Adam and your lovely children.
Betty Lou Brendalen
Thank you for these updates. I am checking for them on the hour. Terrell and I are holding each of you in our hearts. We are sending prayers of hope and of strength to you Adam and to your children. Sending prayers of strength to overcome and to rejoin you soon to Lori. Stephanie and Terrell
What a beautiful family you have and what a beautiful person you are. I've never met you, my great friend Jana went to High school with you, and called me yesterday to ask me to pray to our heavenly Father for your recovery. I prayed for you this morning Lori, and for your family, that the Lord heals your body, and comforts your Husband and beautiful daughters during this time of trial. My God Bless you and your family,
In His Love,
I wanted you to know that I have been following your surgery and progress. I've been keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Your warmth, courage, strength and love are such amazing gifts to everyone who has known you. Sending you tons of love and hope for a speedy, smooth recovery.
