We are giving thanks to our Almighty God, for you and Peggy, and He has brought you both through. So thrilled you are back on the computer, not that Peggy did not do a wonderful job. She's made us all proud, and surely you have too Duane. Saw the new pictures, wonderful to see you both. The incision as you said, looks well. Great pictures. One day at a time now. In our prayers! Love ya, Nedra and Dale too!

Duane- I'm glad you got through it and I hope the rest of your recovery goes well. I'm a fellow valve patient though i haven't had my surgery yet (still have some time) but you are inspirational. I think it will just keep getting better for you now.
Thanks for the update,

Hi Peggy and Duane
Good news to hear Duane is coming along so well. I just finished writing Susan and Richard saying these two guys have been real newsmakers. Thank goodness they are both starting to show some improvement. You must be exhausted too Peggy. Make sure to take some time for yourself and get some much needed rest because once home, you're going to be busy again. Give Duane my best. Really glad things are looking up. Cheryl, Ontario

Dear Duane and Peggy, Your messages were going in spam. Finally, with Florences help I can read and write. Sunday went really well. Pastor Paul and family, in our opinion, should fit in well. They were easy to entertain for lunch, etc. Now, we do miss you two, but,you guys need time off and strength back. Prayers and love, Palmateers

Rock on Duane!
Peggy, you are amazing. You were both in Hope's prayers last night, it brought a tear as to how sincere she speaks to God, and it is from growing up in your church that has created that relationship. I can't thank you guys enough for all of the faith and encouragement you have given my family, I can only say I love you.

Such wonderful news!! Is this really surprising for the God that we serve? Jeremiah 29:11 really comes to mind and how true these words ring so true!! Some scary times are now behind you, Duane and Peggy, and I know you are rejoicing. I have talked with Nell Little and she is fully aware of your condition and is continuing her prayer vigil, too. Take care, get strong and listen to your nurses! Such awesome news, now I can go to bed and sleep, knowing YOU are fine too. Let's talk soon, OK? Joy & Scott

Hi Duane, Peggy and all.
Keep up the good work Duane. Glad you came through the stroke with no lasting effects. If sometime you just forgot to do something, now you can just say it must be due to the stroke, and you will have to be forgiven (just a joke). I (Bob) had a couple of them too, with similiar symptoms, numbness (right side arm for me), speech which no one could understand, etc. but it only lasted for about an hour. Ended up with a pacemaker and thinner for life. So we are both blessed. Glad you are doing so well now. Love to all. Bob & Joan (the Uphams)
