"Dr. DeLaRosa is the best!! I had only heard good things and he did not disappoint me. I was home 3 days after surgery and he did a mini operation!"

"Wow, Where do I start? I have been around hospitals and Doctors most of my life and I have never been fond of most physician attitudes. Unfortunately, as we age I found myself in a precarious situation that all the money in the world can't get me out of. I was told I would need open heart surgery and have almost all my heart valves either repaired or replaced. My first instinct and the recommendation of my cardiologist was to go to a major metropolitan city to have the surgery performed. I did lots of research, spoke to friends, researched online, (even saw the movie The Doctor again). I was told about a surgeon in a small town in Idaho named Dr. Jacob DeLaRosa. He was trained at Emory University in Atlanta and moved to Idaho several years ago to open a new heart program. The program was about state of the art quality care with compassion. Someone said, it's like a 5-star hotel, they remember your name! I met Dr. DeLaRosa and his team, and I was immediately inspired! He made me feel confidant and relaxed that all was going to be great... I was to the point of wanting to do well just for him..He felt and acted like he was my coach! The surgery was a bear and I still hurt, but he was by my side wiping the sweat from brow and sitting by my bed. It felt like he was always there being my biggest cheerleader. In all my years, I have never seen a doctor care like he did. It was like the movie, "The Doctor". My wife and family absolutely adore Dr. DeLaRosa for his care, honesty, and down to earth presence. My wife and brother-n- law said he was forthright with answers, and even gave them his cell phone number if they had any questions, (never heard of that before) and was down to earth when explaining the situations. I am fortunate to be able to travel to the Mayo's and the Cleveland Clinics of the world, but I am glad I came up to Pocatello, Idaho to get my life back!!! Adam, thank you for all your help and this website... Best, Steven J. "
