It's been 2 and half weeks after the surgery. Dry cough almost killed me. It's becoming better after taking Amoxicillin. I keep walking everyday but still feel very weak. Look forward to 3 and 4 weeks!

Robert Miller Ah, coughing and even more sneezing are no fun after surgery. Even if you don't like taking medicine (like myself), this is not the time to hold back on it. But check with your surgeon or cardiologist what is safe to take.

Richard Ren Hi Rose, the surgeon says it may be caused by breath tube. I keep drinking hot water and throaties everyday and it seems getting better. It's been a month now and my chest doesn't hurt much so I can cough properly and I feel better.
