About Me (In My Own Words)
I have a very serious family history of heart disease. I started having palpatations in my 40s and finally in 2013 was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation. it was only when I seen a different cardiologist that he decided to investigate further and discovered I have leaky heart valves. in which I am so very thankful. This is new information to me so I don't know very much yet. I have been reading a lot about it on the internet. But I haven't been to my follow up yet from the T.E.E. I had done 8 days ago. So I am just stating out on my journey. I don't yet know the severity and what my cardiologist has planned for my treatment. I do know that I AM VERY SCARED.....
