Suelynn, you have no idea how timely your words of encouragement are! God knows. ☺️ Honestly, the last couple of weeks have been very challenging—the physical symptoms, mostly fatigue, have ramped up, and I’ve noticed it feels a bit like depression some days. A scripture that has been an anchor for me for these past months continues to be “My power is made perfect in your weakness”…I don’t like it in the weaker moments but I do know it to be true. The Lord has never let me down when I have sought him with my whole heart, even a stenotic one! 😁
every day is a new day, and I’m asking him what he’s trying to show me or teach me in this season. I don’t share with a lot of people but right now, it feels like I’m walking in the garden with him and he’s asking me to trust him with today. Tomorrow isn’t here yet, so it’s just today. Your words were Holy Spirit inspired, I’ve no doubt. Bless you heart sister for reaching out. Have a blessed day! ❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I can't believe I'm at 3 weeks post op and can take care of myself and personal needs. I even cooked dinner last night! Of course all is done in smaller chunks. However, it's doable. I never thought I would be this far along! I think I'm going to do a load of laundry today and make some overnight oats!
I love the verse you shared. It's one of my husband's favorites and he quotes it often in his prayers.
Take care my heart sister! One day at a time for sure. God is in control!
