"Dr Melnitchouk provided detailed information for my decision and surgery plan. He did an excellent job repairing a very bad valve and performed a thorough maze procedure. His after surgery care was beyond excellent and was proactive in dealing with a post surgical complication that surprised not only me but other physicians as well.
5 years out and my heart is running smooth. I’d recommend him to anyone requiring surgery."

"I had my Mitral valve repaired due to mitral valve prolapse w/regurgitation. This was done minimally invasive...no sternotomy. Dr. M was wonderful, caring and compassionate."

"Dr. Melnitchouk was very prompt in responding to my cardiologist's request for a consult and having my visit and surgery scheduled. He explained in detail why I needed the surgery and exactly what would be done. After the surgery, during the week I was in the hospital, he personally checked on me every single day. Several members of his staff were also in daily. The operation, a mitral valve repair, was a success, the followup was exemplary and I couldn't have been happier with the quality of the care I received. I was very pleasantly surprised by how well the entire process went. "

"Dr. Melnitchouk's bedside manner seems a somewhat detached, but he communicates well and is very responsive to questions. I selected him primarily for his superb surgical skills, and the results were excellent."
