"Dr. Paul Weldner is, in my opinion, that rare combination of kind human being, gentleman, and surgeon whose talent is second to none. Pre and post operation, my family members and I were treated with the utmost of respect and kindness. Upon my first visit, Dr. Weldner took the time necessary to dispel all misconceptions I had about several aspects of the procedure facing me. He gave me the best information and the most accurate data available, which allowed me to make the inevitable and tough decisions concerning my care. Dr Weldner performs an incredible number of minimally invasive heart surgeries and I felt that nothing was left to chance, his level of precision exacting. My mini AVR incision is precisely just two inches in length, and my recovery has been rapid and complication free."

"Good orientation, painless surgery, routine recovery. Extremely pleased with Dr. Weldner, his assistant, and the entire experience. I also think everyone should read Adam Pick's book first."

"Dr. Weldner was very good at explaining the different types of options I had before the surgery in laymens terms. He made me feel confident in my choice of valve and told me what to expect during recovery. He is a very upbeat and positive doctor who will talk to you as a person, not just a patient. When the hospital staff (nurses, technicians, etc) found out he was my doctor, they told me I made a wise choice. I was told his patients recover at a faster pace then other surgeons. I am proof of that. I highly recommend Dr. Weldner."

"Dr. Weldner is very competent knowledgeable. We interviewed him before our selection and found him as such, and I had the surgery in two days. I wanted to have minimally invasive surgery, which he does, but after talking with him I decided on conventional surgery. He took the time to explain everything and answer all our questions. After coming out of ICU I was surprised how well I felt. Dr. Weldner did a great job and I highly recommend him. "
