"Dr. Korver loves his work above all else and it shows. He delivers outstanding results because of his well known attention to detail; a big plus when it comes to heart valve replacement! His reputation with the nurses in the hospital ensures first class treatment for his patients. His gentle manner and calm demeanor belies his complete dedication to his patients and his craft. For example, he operated on me on a Saturday because my Coumadin levels weren't optimal until then. He gave me a new aortic valve and did a MAZE procedure without using blood transfusions. He brought me back from the brink to give me a new lease on life. And he did a beautiful job with my incision, which is healing very rapidly, with minimal scarring. I feel very fortunate to have had him as my surgeon and highly recommend him to anyone who needs this surgery."
