He was reassuring and fully explained the aortic valve replacement options and their pros and cons. He met with my husband while I was in recovery to let him know how the surgery went and approximately when I would be moved to ICU. He and other members of his staff checked in on me daily while I was in the hospital and again answered any questions we had.
