"My surgery was at Instituto National de Cardiologia, the best heart hospital in Mexico. Dr Ramirez was fabulous caring and very down to earth.

The cardiologist, Dr. Eduardo Busio, who also took care of me after surgery was really great! The both speak English. The nursing care was over the top great. I had minimally invasive surgery. I have implants and I was worried about damage. Thankfully, there was none.

Recovering from this surgery went well. After 45 days, I was close to feeling normal and now it’s like what surgery??? For reference, I’m 78 my height 5’5” and 128 pounds in good health.

My under active thyroid is my only problem - daily pill for that. I should mention that I was given a 3-room suite. A sitting room where my husband slept, my area and bath with shower and a huge enclosed terrace. In Mexico, they expect your spouse to sleep there in the hospital close by.
