Ana Brusso Dear Klara, I think about you very often. Wondering how you are doing with all your little ones and trying to recover. How are your wounds now? As for me my knee still hurts, I started to use the knee pads two days ago and today I bought orthotics to see if all these things will help me walk and not hurt so much. My surgery recovery is going well and I’m grateful. So kind of you to remember me. God bless you and your beautiful family 🙏❤️

Klara Čičić Ana I am sorry that next to recovering from another heart surgery you have to deal with the probably annoying knee pain. Is it chronic knee arthritis or something else? Is physical therapy an option? I hope you won't suffer for long and find a solution... Your body must be exhausted from everything but yet you don't give up and keep going, such a warrior! I am really good, thank you, little rascals keeping me busy but they are adorable and I am blessed. Warm greetings from Croatia

Hi Ana, I did not have my surgery yet. High blood pressure is new for me and my cardiologist is trying to get it down. My newest aorta measurement is 4.7 with a root of 4.4. I THINK that I'm a year and a half away from surgery...but that's just my guess. The cardiologist says within 4 years.

Rhodie Jacobson Thank you! I am headed for a second opinion at a hospital system that does many more of these. The current folks say surgery at 5.0 (aorta size) and I believe and understand that. I just don't know if all of the other valve measurements should push surgery sooner or if my breathlessness pushes things too. Blessings to you!!

The pain is there and I am going to buy this knee pads that Richard uses to see if they buy me some time and not go to the specialist. Ana Brusso In spite of the very difficult and complicated surgery and spending so many days in ICU, the staff at UCLA took excellent care of me. I’m now 7 weeks post op and recovering slowly and steady. I just drove myself to bloodwork last Thursday and to the grocery store to buy a couple of things, yeah! It was a little difficult but I did it. It was not far just about a 10 miles round trip. But, I want you all to know, how grateful I am for your well wishes and prayers and God’s blessings of healing, a true miracle for sure. Thank you Marie, Klara and Richard. Richard Munson Man, 7 weeks already. Time flies when you’re having fun ana. I just received my cataract surgery date in early december. They dilated my eyes friday and there was bright sunshine. Guess who forgot his sunglasses and even a hat. I drove home but don’t remember how many lights i went thru. A danger to society. Squinting just doesn’t cut it. I should have taken a nap in the truck before the drive i guess.

I will not post the details of my miracle surgery only that God guided me to Dr. Shemin (the Miracle surgeon) who was able to repair all those parts. Ana Brusso Oh my Andrew. So kind of you to ask about me. It’s been tough but Praise God I’m slowly recovering. Yesterday was one month. I’m adding more steps every day to get stronger. Took a shower by myself today and washed my hair (my daughter was nearby keeping an eye on me) I did it but felt very tired later on. Will wait a while before I do it again. Only take Tylenol for muscle or back pain. Stopped Norco two weeks ago. All in all and by the Grace of God I’m doing well. Just have to be patient. Thank you for being such a good kid and for loving God as you do. Continued good health and God bless you 🙏❤️🎃

Ana Brusso Hi HVS godchild, had my post op yesterday and they all said I’m doing well. Stitches out. Walking and exercising as much as I can. No Norco since Wednesday only Tylenol. It will take time but have to do everything I can to get better. Temps are awful, triple digits. Staying inside. Deena my brother use to live in Herndon, Va. are you close to that? I want to get better and was blessed to have an amazing surgeon who fixed and repair all these things I didn’t know need fixing and a God that wanted me around still. Ana, hope this note finds you well. I have kept you in my thoughts and prayers and hope your procedure went well. Hope your recovery is going well. Triplets are good, Joe is working in Atlanta, Hailey is working as a EMT while applying to get a masters and become a Physicians Assistant. She got to do a rotations at Mayo Clinic ans observed the same surgery that I had last year. She indicated I had been in good hands. Jimmy will graduate from Virginia Tech in December and has a job with Accenture in Arlington VA. Very proud of each of them.
