About Me
I have a rare auto-immune disease (takayasus arteritis) that I was diagnosed with about 10 years ago. The disease causes inflammation in the artery walls.
In 2004 I had a bypass of my left renal artery. The inflammation from the disease has caused an aneurysm in my acsending aorta that has slowly grown over the last few years and is now approximentaly 5.7 cm.
In september 2012 I had a Dacron graft placed in my aorta and the aoritc valve was replaced.
