Video: Understanding “Surgical Outcomes” By Dr. Vincent Gaudiani (Part II)
Last week, I posted the first part of a great video by Dr. Gaudiani all about surgical outcomes for heart valve surgery patients.
Here is the second part of that video. By the way, if you would like to watch the first part of the video, please click here.
FYI, I was fortunate to speak with Dr. Gaudiani earlier this week. Specific to valve surgery, our discussion further strengthened my knowledge of his unique, surgical competencies. So you know, Dr. Gaudiani has performed over 10,000 cardiac procedures during his 25-year career. Today, about 80% of his surgical procedures are valve-related.
Thanks to Dr. Gaudiani for this video and his ongoing pursuit of healthy hearts!
Keep on tickin!

Adam: Thank you so much for featuring Dr. Gaudiani on your website. I was so very forturnate that he performed my valve replacement surgery on Nov. 16, 2007. While Dr. Gaudiani is located 3 hours from my home, he came so highly recommended that I knew I wanted him to do my surgery even if it meant being “away from home.” The afternoon prior to my surgery my husband and I met him at his office. We chatted about my procedure, his love of literature, particularly poetry, family and my work as a teacher among other things. I went into surgery without doubt and fear and to this day feel so lucky to have had a surgeon of his caliber. Thank you for allowing this “visit’ via the video with a man I have such high regard for. He is a brilliant surgeon and warm, caring human being.
