Here is a very interesting, 5-minute video specific to aortic and mitral valve surgery. This aortic / mitral valve video follows the stories two patients – a mitral valve repair patient and an aortic valve replacement patient.

• Mitral Valve Patient – One part of the video documents Tom Cross’ mitral valve repair procedure by Doctor Peter Birnbaum. Tom was suffering from leaking heart valve symptoms.
• Aortic Valve Patient – The other part of the video focuses on Ernest Hein. Ernest is an elderly patient that requires bicuspid aortic valve replacement. Doctor Richard Gregory is his surgeon.
