Heart Valve Replacement Surgery Videos For Ted
August 18th, 2008In an email, Ted just wrote, “I’m about to have my aortic valve replaced. I’m a little nervous to ask this question but do you know where I might be able to watch a heart valve replacement video?”
Sure Ted. To help you and a lot of the other patients and caregivers at this site, I have posted several links to a series of heart valve replacement surgery videos and patient success stories on this site. I think if you do a search for “video” you will find many of them. If not, I have listed many of the videos below.
Please note, some of these videos are fairly graphic. Some patients love learning about all the steps involved in heart surgery. Other patients… Not so much. (I think the blood can get to people). As for me, I didn’t watch any of these videos prior to my aortic valve replacement. At the time, video wasn’t so popular on the Internet.
