Hey everybody,

I thought you might want to see some of the latest technology used by surgeons for mitral valve repairs. The minimally invasive mitral valve repair procedure using robots and robotic processing has several advantages versus the traditional cracked sternum approach – faster healing, less pain, etc.

In this video, you will see Doctor Vaughn Starnes of USC Medical center use robots to perform a mitral valve repair. I will let Doctor Starnes use the video to show and tell you about the mitral valve repair using the Da Vinci Surgical System. Here’s the link:
