On Februrary 14, 2009, several members of the Heart-Valve-Surgery.com community discussed the possibility of developing an online, heart valve surgeon database (see "Heart Valve Surgeon Database - Will You Help?"). The objectives of this unique directory were:
- To help future patients and caregivers find trusted and reputable heart valve surgeons anywhere in the world;
- To provide surgeon feedback from the patient perspective; and
- To offer this information free-of-charge.
Earlier today, this special database was launched! Now, we need your help to expand the surgeon listings in the directory! Will you help us by adding your surgeon profile and your experience?
