Patsy Stewart  Thank you, Deena. I still haven’t gotten to tell Andrew what happened. A member of the team he was working with tested positive for Covid on Friday. He flew in on Monday afternoon and is now about 1 1/2 hours away staying in a motel until he’s sure he isn’t bringing something home. He’ll test again tomorrow and hopefully, head on home. 
I’ve thought of you and held you close in my heart. I know you’ve had some heart wrenching days. I had an infusion late Monday afternoon and hadn’t taken the time to say anything to you. Your always in my heart and prayers. xo~❤️

We all want you to focus on getting stronger and stronger, physically that is.   
I know it will be difficult to share the news with Andrew.  I suspect Andrew is like his mom, feels deeply, gives widely, and never lets life get him down for to long. This too shall pass. ❤️

Patsy Stewart  Ana, I am so sorry about you losing two of your brothers this past year.
I have had a really rough fall and winter. I have several more tests and appointments coming up in March, and I’m hoping they come up with a solution soon. How did Richard do? I haven’t been able to make and decorate a cake in forever! I still have high hopes to pick up my spatula one day. Thank you for all of your love and prayers. ~❤️

  Thank you Patsy and I am sorry you have had a rough time lately. I will continue to pray that you find solutions soon too. Richard did very well. Richard Munson  I echo your post regards patsy. Sad to report that my neighbor and former member of the singing group tavares died this week. Ralph was a very nice guy. RIP.

Rose Madura  I'm sorry about the loss of your neighbor. I'm going to have to look up Tavares. I've never heard of them. I echo sentimental about Patsy. We miss her posts. Hope she responds

Richard Munson  Disco era. Big song “ heaven must be missing an angel” now we now where the angels went. To adams angels. I’m betting rose was flash dancing under the bright lights and the disco ball. I still love the bee gees songs even if there is only a bee left.

Richard Munson  Rose, many years ago i went to a chicago concert and sat next to donna summer known as the disco queen. She was just in the audience enjoying the show. I still love chicago’s music. She was Born in boston and died way too young. She was gorgeous and a very friendly seat mate. I laugh because nancy said after the show that i talked to donna more than her. I may have said you’re not the disco queen.

Rose Madura  LOL! The first and only concert I went to was Chicago. I loved it. Yes, I liked a variety of music, back in the day - even the Bee Gees. I wasn't a disco queen though. Sorry to disappoint you. Great story about Donna Summer.

  I did the Disco scene here in California at Oscos in Los Angeles. Knew the Tavares and Donna as well, a great singer and a good Christian woman who died as Richard said way to young, what a voice! Mc Arthur Park was of my favorite songs by her and also by Richard Harris May they all Rest In Peace.

  At this moment I’m enjoying good old Christmas songs by Frank, Tony, Andy, Perry, Lou, Nancy, Ella and many more, always grateful for their talents

  I’ll tell you a story when my daughter who is an old soul, met Lou Rawls in Los Ángeles, she tells him that he had the best rendition of “A little drummer boy” song, and she said that he had this perplexed facial expression like why is this kid talking about that instead of “you’re going to miss my loving”). He thanked her, but we still get a good laugh when we talk about it. If you get a chance listen to it, it’s amazing!

Richard, I’m sorry to hear about your neighbor. There has been a lot of loss this year.
Good to hear from Rose, Ana and Susan as well. I’ve missed you all.
I haven’t really felt like getting on here. I’ve been wallowing in sickness and sadness and trying to keep my head above it all. My health has really taken a plunge. I had ask for help, but that has only led to many doctor’s visits and tests with no help and no answers. Apparently, I picked up a virus while at the doctor’s office the end of September. No medicine….just one appointment after the other to be watched and tested. It wasn’t Covid. I had an angiogram on Wednesday. My pressures are extremely high in my heart and lungs. I was giving a huge dose of lasix and later, got to come home. Actually, like the 3 Little Pigs…only change the ‘w’ on wee to a P! Ha!! My cardiologist changed my medicine and hopefully, I’ll get some of this fluid off of me and reduce the pressure. I’ve gotten to where I can barely walk across the floor. 🙄 I’m just hoping they didn’t let me get down too far. I’m totally exhausted and find it very difficult to get from point A to point B. I start home health on Tuesday. 🙄🙄I’m officially old…and sick. I’m truly trying to beat this. I’ll get back on here with a bouncy message and have that happy face on before long. There is light at the end of the tunnel. I just hope it’s not a freight train headed my way. I have several test coming up….looking for things I don’t want. Love & hugs to you all! Prayers for all of those waiting for your surgeries. Prayers for all of you that are recovering. Heart valve surgery is such a blessing! Happy New Year’s everyone! ~❤️

Patsy Stewart  Thank you, Deena, for cheering me onward! I truly feel like I’ve won the war every time I come out of a new situation. Years ago, my grandpa jokingly told me that they’d have to pay someone to take me because of all of my scars. I loved him and he loved me! If he could only see me now with all of my new battle wounds! I’m proud of every scar that I have. They speak life to me. I decorated my first cake after my surgeries back in March. It nearly took me down, but I loved every minute of making it. It was all pale pink with fondant/gum paste ballerina slippers for the topper.

Marie Myers  Amen to that! I am amazed (and envious) how positive and grateful you are in spite of your health challenges. Keep on keeping on!

Patsy Stewart  Thank you, Cheryl! Our son moved back home to help and he has been such a blessing to me and his dad. His work allows him to work from home.
