I am so glad to hear of your recovery, sounds like it is going well, Patience and confidence that energy and balance will return to normal or better, pays.therapist told me the regular energy you had is now directed toward recovery and healing, this was in answer to my extreme tiredness a week and half after surgery while in rehab hospital, it is now 2 1/2 weeks and I am now feeling more balanced and some energy which I must contain and moderate.

Your mom and I have become very good friends She along with this whole community have been such a blessing to me I do not how I could have gotten through this without this support group. I am her count up sister. My surgery was the 29th. I just came home today. I was so excited.

You mentioned your mom was very tired, I had the same problem, along with nausea, and no appetite. Am improving each day.

We all need to take it easy, follow drs instructions, and enjoy each day.

I look forward to chatting with your mom again and then skyping for the ice cream social.

I have been up since 2:24 a.m. with Gary getting ready for work.
Hunter is lazily siting at my feet by the computer. I think the constant tapping on the computer keys puts him to sleep!
I was thinking about you and Mia and your "Count Up" today. Seems to be working well for you two! Just Great!
I hope you were able to get up and walk a little yesterday and that you are not being bothered with "vertigo".
I hope each day that you gain more and more strength to match your feisty great mind! so you are able to get into your recovery with great healing energy.
You have the love and prayers of many people so absorb them all and heal!
I hope Jim will take over posting for you until you are able. Take it easy sweet Sister. It won't be long until you are home and we are on the phone again talking about how great you are doing!

Now you can see who your MiaMia sister is. I am 58 years young! Two nights in.a row my nurse made me Ann ice cream sundae or snack.y nurse sundaice creame! For me, that was one of the last things before dismissal, that and a bedside echocardiogram. I am glad the Cleveland Clinic experience was good, and hope to hear more about it, especially for those considering it for their surgery. I am 21 days post-surgery today, and feeling better each day. I hope the same for Ginger. Love and gratitud to all you caregivers.

as very tired, hardly appetie. Yesterday I woke uno on top of the world. The good news is my appetiter improves easch measl.Appetite improves. Basically chest tubes came out_pacemaker wired out. I actually feel like talking today. I normally never shut up. If you have any questions just leave me a message.

Happy to hear the tubes are coming out. Those were a great source of discomfort to me and please don't push away the pain meds too quickly. You need them to rest and breathe. When you're in pain you won't take a deep breath and you need to. Trust me, the pain does subside and getting the tubes out helps that problem a lot!
Hope you enjoyed your first walk and just keep telling yourself it will get better and better every day.
God is great and greatly to be praised!

glad to hear you are doing well, patience is paramount to recovery, I was told by the therapist when I complained how tired and out of breath I was a week after surgery, she said Geri the energy you normally have is going toward/directed to your recovery, think of the trauma the body was assailed with at surgery, its a miracle that a valve could calibrate to the heart

It has been 2 weeks exactly since my surgery (which sounds very similar to yours!) and I am feeling so much better than before. You have great progress to look forward to.
