Whats up! I hope you are doing well and reading all of your well wishers! You have a lot of friends holy crap!!!!!!!

Its a big day for me and you tomorrow and I will be thinking about you non stop!!!

No matter what or whatever drugs they give you you can't give up anything from the NanBen Oath!!!!

I love you a lot and am so proud of you!

You and Papa are the most inspiring and brave people I could ever imagine and it is so crazy that I get to grow up and learn from you! What a blessing!

I know this is hard on all of us but VERY SOON we will be in recovery and I can't wait for that because I will be able to say we did it and everything will be fun again!!!!

Whenever I have a presentation or am doing something scary or that requires confidence my mom tells me to act like I am Nanny, and it always works. I emulate you every day Nan and I hope I can live up to the accomplishments that you have done so far and so many more that you will!

Whenever I have a big test or something hard I always think, 24 hours or 48 hours and this will all be in the past. While this is obviously not the same I am thinking the same way. Just a short time and my Nan will be under a lot less stress and on the road to playing ping pong and fishing with me in Florida and working out at 141!!!!!!!!!!

Don't know if you are still up or trying to go to sleep, but if we don't talk, I will be thinking of you tomorrow knowing you will be the star of the show! Funny how "attached we become to people we have never actually met. Bet you never thought you would be grateful for a bad aortic valve, but if it weren't for that...you might not know about that 95% blocked artery!!! 5% isn't much left you know!

See Nancy...you can trust me completely, I knew you would ace it. So now on to tomorrow...you will ace that too. Want to know how lucky we are that we can be fixed??? The son-in-law of my hairdresser, 21 years old has just been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, already spred to his liver and lung and only 21 years old, only symptom was sudden onset of severe abdominal pain, they thought it was his appendix. So... I have decided not to complain about having to wait and am giving thanks to God that we can be fixed. Puts this in a whole new light. Now, as hard as it may be...you behave yourself tomorrow and don't make your surgeon laugh oo much, you want his hands very steady! Tell your girls to please keep us updated. You know we will be waiting to hear good news! God bless and many hugs!

See...that wasn't so bad. Its always better to find any problems before, not after, so I'm glad they will change your oil/filter and new fuel line at the same time. Don't want to be in the shop again anytime soon!

The big event is finally here, it seemed like a long time away at one point, but not any longer. This Friday you will be in recovery and getting ready to start living with a healthy heart. (It will be a little worse for wear initially, but it is amazing how quickly the heart recovers!)

I wanted to wish you the best for tomorrow and the surgery. Just so you know the surgery is the easy part. Recovery will be your challenge. And you family having a sense of humour is a gift that really will help. Just kep a pillow handy laughing to hard will hurt the first few weeks but is great for the soul.

Really do learn from your post and helps us open up to be honest on what we are feeling..Fears..Hopes..Mostly fears..haha. But I do feel better with all new friends I have made on here and we are bonded in a way that sometimes others around us don't understand.
