Would you quit challenging them? They have hearts too and do not want to flip when things happen! You know that being a patient can sometimes be smooth. So keep trying. Good luck to you and your nurses. You probably make them nervous with left sided heart rate drops like that. Did they give you any special bras yet? Don't care heh, I know. Be good. Love, Patty

I am telling our staff that you like ultram better than norco. We have tramadol as an alternative so maybe it will improve pain levels here. Have you let go of all your special pillows yet? Your pillow from home and the one they hopefully gave you for coughing support?? Love, PB

Glad to hear that the breathing tube was removed and besides like feeling like you were run over by a truck, you're on the road to recovery. I am 14 days out of surgery and have been resting at home since I was released March on March 26. I'm here for you and feel free to to contact if I can be of any help.

Wonderful news. I had an AVR replacement with Dr. McCarthy 1.5 weeks ago. I'm feeling good (surprisingly)! The nurses at NMH took great care of me. I will keep you in my thoughts and wishing you a speedy recovery!!! Many blessings.
