I'm following your journal with interest - I'm going to have AVR in the next few weeks with Dr McCarthy.

I have to say I'm not really too worried about the procedure because I have no choice, so why worry about something I can't control. I figure I have a great surgeon at a great hospital, so that's all I can do.

The only thing that worries me is the pain and the recovery but, again, no point worrying (I keep telling myself).
