I'm so sorry to hear he was not feeling good yeasterday! I will pray today will be better. Is he able to eat anything at all? Broth. etc. The three days or so after mom had this done were the hardest. Part of hers was getting the anesthia out of her system. She started doing better after Andre days or so. Hello Marjorie and David, Don and I have been following your story for weeks and praying often for David and his family. David's parents are dear friends we love. I am so glad you are willing to protect David as he begins to heal, he has many days ahead of him and plenty of time to rejoice with those who want to visit. Hopefully one day later will make a difference as far as nausea and pain goes. I have been following so many of our heart valve club members and one thing I've learned so far is that everyone's recovery is different. Thanks for the updates and let David know there are a lot of us thinking of him. He'll be way on the road to recovery when I have my surgery in March.

Hi Dave and Marj: It's been a long time, kinda sucks that we have to catch up under these circumstances. Stay strong, difficult recovery. My oldest brother Rick had a mechanical installed several years ago. Heart wise he is doing great! I too have an issue with the mitral...not bad though. Dave you turned me on to my favorite Taco Bell food when you ordered Bean Burritos with green sauce.!!!lol They don't have green sauce any more.:-(!! Don't know why, but that was one of the first things that came to my mind when I heard the news. Thought that might bring a smile or smirk to your face.! Hang in there, I will catch up more later.
