Mollie, I've been thinking of you and you are in my prayers. Hopefully you will move out of ICU today or very soon, be patient, it does take a while for the swelling to decrease and the sutures to take hold! In the mean time try to walk as often as you can and chose the chair instead of the bed. Stay on top of your pain, but not so much that you can't think straight!! It sounds like you have a great support system! God Bless

Dear Molie & Jim,

You all have been on our hearts and in our prayers all week long. I'm so sorry that you're having to go through this struggle but I do whole-heartedly believe that our Loving Father is in control and that He is not surprised by this situation. I have been praying that the Lord will use this struggle as a way to strengthen your reliance on Him and to have an even stronger marriage. Once you get passed this difficult post-op time, your sweet precious family will have a deeper bond. My favorite verse is Jeremiah 29:11 He has a plan for you to prosper and not to harm you. Paul and I will continue to pray for your healing.
Much love,
Stacy & Paul Previte

Even though Jim had read so much of it to you I'm sure you'll re-read again. Can't wait to see you in the very near future my sweet friend!

Mollie , Jim and girls...It was such a blessing to me to be with all the family in the waiting room during Mollie's surgery. All of our love for you, Mollie, drew us together into a tight knit group as we waited, remembering the fun times
growing up and then the blessed time we had praising our Lord in prayer as each one of us shared our hearts desire for His devine guidance and care for you as your Dad closed our prayter time .We serve a mighty Savior and praise him that our family can lift each other up in prayer. Thank you God that we love and care for each other. Love you, Aunt Winkie

Hi Mollie! - and Jim! I am so happy (although I'm boo-hooing my eyes out at this moment) that the surgery went so well. I will continue to pray for a speedy recovery. What a blessing it's been to read about your progress and your tremendous faith! You guys are a sweet pair.
On August 3, 2012...
Jim,
Honestly the worst part of the whole recovery process , the oxygen ! It was so frustrating getting tangled up in all the cords when you tried to turn over or get up. I had a nurse ratchet that came in at midnight every night and got mad at me because I didn't have it on! I didn't say thank you, to him when I went home. I'm praying for her. I know she'll be just fine.

Hi Molly, So glad that you are on the mend. Please take time for yourself and be sure to go to cardiac rehab. I had my aortic valve replaced 3 years ago at age 66 and I am doing fine. Just a hint, get a body pillow so you can hug it as it makes sleeping better. Also get your nails and feet and hair done as it will make you feel better. Know that our prayers are with you. Marlane

Mollie,

I was so touched to receive your husband's e-mail about your surgery. It has been a blessing to be able to pray for you! I loved when he said, "if you know Mollie, you know she has a heart as big as Texas". What a perfect description of you! Your journal entries (and your husband's) are so encouraging and it is wonderful to hear the great love you have for each other and our Lord. I know it must feel so good to have the surgery behind you and I will be praying for your speedy recovery. God is our Sustainer and I know He will take care of you during your recovery. You are an amazing woman, wife, mother and Christ follower and I am so thankful to know you!

Love, Kim McDonald

Dear Mollie (and nurse Ratched) You look incredibly good. Thanks so much for the updates, Jim. I get my tissue ready each time I open one! So happy this surgery is behind you and that it went so well. Jim a/k/a/ Nurse Ratched, back off the lunch trays and keep up the support. You're amazing. Bandit is doing good. He played Keno with the girls last nite. He had fun. Love and Hugs, Judy

Stay strong, Mollie! I went through this in February at the age of 41. Recovery was rough at first, but got better very quickly. Only 6 months later I can hardly believe how much better I feel. It is all frightening and surreal, but I am so glad to now be spending my days with my 5 year old and my husband. There is a great life after recovery! Please know that you are not alone and that we are all thinking of you.
On August 3, 2012...
Jim,
Sounds like Mollie is progressing as expected! All wonderful things! From my experience with Kyle and myself the first time up is the most difficult! It should get better each time. Pain control is so important. Sounds like Mollie is not afraid to ask for pain meds, good! I hope that you are trying to get some rest yourself! Hope all continues to progress as it has! Praying for Mollie's continued speedy recovery! Love you guys, Emily and the Gang
