After today I don't think an ice chip machine is asking too much! Mollie and the girls are beyond blessed to have you. We should all be so lucky. I'm so glad this day is almost over and I look forward to Mollie's continued recovery. Try to rest and we'll see you tomorrow.

No need to stress yourself trying to reply to all the guestbook posts. I know that when I went through this, there were too many to reply to. Mollie will likely want to reply to all but then realize there are soooo many. My advice is to do what you did. Acknowledge them (Mollie will in a day or two) and then she should pick a day when she feels up to it and from then on, start replying individually again. I was going to reply to all of them but then realized there were way too many and many were not relevant a week later when I got around to replying. That's my 2 cents. Looking forward to more great news. And yes, ice chips rule!!

What a beautiful day!!! I know it's been very tough on you Jim! I know you've worried like you've never worried before but all the while I know you've felt all of our prayers because I also have felt everyone praying! I've sort of been in tears all day from having the Holy Spirit with me all day because so many of us are joined as one praying for you & Mollie!!! I'm so thankful the surgery is over & of course without a doubt she came out looking beautiful as ever!!! I'm sure she feels better already with her heart pumping like it's supposed to be. Jim, I know what your day has been like and know that you are lifted in prayer. The next couple of days will be hard, but I promise that it does get better quickly. Jim said you look beautiful, just hours out of surgery and your hair is perfect, in fact, he said according to the nurses you are a perfect patient!! Of course you are a cooperative patient and of course even just coming from surgery you look beautiful!

We are so glad the surgery went well. We talked about you two this morning and sent up prayers for a successful surgery and recovery. One of my sisters had OHS similar to Mollie's two years ago and she is doing great. The fact that Mollie is otherwise healthy and strong and has a great attitude will serve her well in recovery. Hi Jim, I can relate to what you going thru being there for my daughter OHS 3 years ago. It is really hard, but I said prayers and he told me that Stephanie was going to be ok. And Mollie will be to. Being on this end of waiting is the worse than having surgery. But now I am on the other side climbing the mountain myself. And I know my husband is scared. Just wish the two of you could get together soon and talk maybe it would help him as well. I know God is in with Mollie holding her hand.Soon it will be over and she will be smiling at you. Hang in there God is good and prayers are there.

Jim, have been thinking of Mollie all morning. I remember the first time I met her and thought "how can anyone be so sweet and innocent!" LOL I loved her from the moment I met her. I cannot remember ever having one argument with her during our friendship. I wanted to comment on your comment about the surgical hat and how it was an "inside joke." Mollie and I had many of those "inside jokes" ourselves. Brought back so many good memories. Some day we'll all have to get together and reminisce. I'm sure we'll laugh for hours.
