After medical school, Dr. Lee completed a general surgery residency in 2016 and a cardiothoracic surgery fellowship in 2018 at NYU Grossman School of Medicine.

Dr. Lee is board-certified in both general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery.

Dr. Lee is a recipient of the James L. Cox Fellowship in Atrial Fibrillation Surgery, awarded by the American Association for Thoracic Surgery.
