"I had a Mitral Valve replacement and a triple bypass done at the same time. Dr. Hooker told me exactly what to expect, taking time to explain everything and followed up until I no longer needed him. His bedside manner was wonderful and the care and concern for my health was very reassuring. If I had it to do over again I wouldn't have chosen anyone else. He's the best! "

"I was 34 at the time of my surgery and it came as a bit of a shock. I knew that I would need valve repair or replacement but was not expecting it so soon. Dr. Hooker was very up front and honest with me. I meet with him on Aug 26, 2008 and underwent surgery on Sept 16, 2008. I had two valves repaired and my pulmonary valve replaced. It went well, recovery was tough but I made it through and am doing great today."
