Education, Training & Certificates

Dr. Pavan Atluri, heart surgeon, graduated from Albany Medical College in 2001.

After medical school, Dr. Atluri completed a Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship in 2006, a General Surgery Residency in 2008 and a Cardiothoracic Surgery Residency in 2010, all at the University of Pennsylvania.

In addition, Dr. Atluri completed a Cardiovascular Surgery Fellowship in minimally invasive cardiac surgery, heart-failure, transplantation, and mechanical circulatory support at University of Pennsylvania in 2011.

Dr. Atluri is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.
