Dr. Nathaniel Robinson, heart surgeon, graduated from Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in 2018.
After medical school, Dr. Robinson completed his General Surgery Residency at Mayo Clinic in 2023 and his Thoracic Surgery Residency at Mayo Clinic in 2025.
His professional interests include all types of structural valvular heart disease and the use of traditional, minimally-invasive and robot-assisted techniques for the treatment of mitral and tricuspid valve disease. Among Dr. Robinson’s most common procedures are transcatheter interventions on the mitral and tricuspid valves. He also specializes in heart surgery for coronary artery disease and thoracic aortic disease including aortic aneurysms.
During his career, Dr. Robinson has received several accolades and awards including:
