Dr. Masaki Tsukashita, heart surgeon, graduated from Kyoto University Faculty of Medicine, Japan in 1999.
After medical school, Dr. Tsukashita completed a surgical residency with Kyoto University Hospital. Next, he completed a fellowship in cardiovascular surgery at NYU Medical Center in 2014 followed by an advanced fellowship focused in heart transplantation and mechanical circulatory support at Columbia University Medical Center / New York-Presbyterian Hospital in 2015.
Dr. Tsukashita is board certified by the Japanese Board of General Surgery and the Japanese Board of Cardiovascular Surgery.
