"When a person needs an open heart procedure, the choice for heart surgeon should be the primary concern. Through internet research, I found Dr. Lishan Aklog, and I would travel a great distance for medical care to have him as my heart surgeon. This was my 4th open heart procedure since birth, and when he went in to replace an aortic valve, he also had to do a mitral ring repair, remove an aneurysm, and replace the aortic root. I recovered well from that surgery and was able to resume an active life that I had given up due to the heart inefficiencies. Dr. Aklog in my opinion, is a highly skilled, professional, compassionate, heart surgeon. Not only do I recommend him, I thank God for him. His team is also excellent, providing critical support and follow-up care over the long haul. "
